Who doesn’t love a good prison server? Their usual structure of having to mine or do other simple tasks in exchange for money. Along with the awesome interaction with other players through PVP areas, plots and the mines themselves is great, idle fun for when you’re feeling bored.

The prison gamemode has been around for years and has been constantly evolving with new, innovative ways to make it more fun. Recently, I was on a server where the mines were not a cube surrounded by beautiful buildings, but they were caves integrated into the build itself that reset themselves periodically.

With that in mind, when you own a prison server it is a good idea to consider how appealing your prison grounds are to the players. We know exclusive builds cost money, so we’ve compiled a list of 10 Minecraft prison schematics you will find useful for your prison server. See our list below:

Prison Swamp by InMine

How does a good prison in a custom terraformed swamp area sound? It sure sounds great to us! That’s exactly what Prison Swamp by Leonex (from InMine) is. It’s only $2 which for its size and quality is quite impressive.

If you want to give your server (or a particular area) the feel of an eerie wasteland where they’ll be forced to mine for their freedom, this is one of the best things you could ask for. You can find it here, on the team’s store page.

34 Prison Mines Pack by Aspire Builds

Having a single mine is good, but to make a fully functional prison server you need multiple mines. Usually, servers are structured around having one mine for each rank and even prestige ranks.

That said, packs like these that include not one, but a whopping 34 prison mines are a real bargain, considering the price. This pack by Aspire Builds, in particular, contains prison mines with a huge variety of themes, so you’ll be able to pick out whichever mines you think would be best suited for your server. You can take a look at the pack here

Sweet Tooth Prison by Team Visionary

If you’re looking for something really different, our very own Team Visionary has a prison mine with an interesting, unique theme. The theme in question is candy! The build is a spawn, but it also has a mine integrated within it.

It is definitely something you should check out if you have a sweet tooth for unique builds. Pun wholeheartedly intended. You can find it in our build shop for a very low price, here

Another pack with 34 prison mines, this time by Unknown Prefix. Unlike the previously mentioned pack, however, this one comes with both a server spawn and crate rooms for just a slight increase in price.

With glowing reviews, this pack stands as one of the most downloaded prison mines and prison mine packs on MCM, the website where the resource is listed. You can find it here

Heaven Mine by Odyssey Builds

In the mood for some irony for your players? Great! This prison mine will give you the opportunity to create the hardest mine your player base has ever seen while also maintaining a really friendly theme of a heavenly palace.

Your players can watch the angel sitting on top of the palace as they try to mine their way to freedom, one block at a time. You can find this wonderful schematic by Odyssey Builds here, on their official store.

Poseidon Prison by AliensBuilds

If heaven is not your idea of fun, then maybe a miniature underwater city is? This prison schematic seems to be loosely based on Greek mythology, featuring a small scale statue of the Ancient Greek god Poseidon, ruler of the seas.

With a size of 230×230, it is enough for a server of any size. Combined with the schematic above, it could even be used together as part of a mythology-themed prison server?

You can find it on AliensBuilds’ official store, here

Prison Mine – Village by MrAniman2

As a change of pace from the bundles, here’s another single mine we thought was worthy of a feature. This is a simple prison mine with a medieval village as its main theme.

The best thing about this mine, in particular, is that you can easily expand it to feature shops inside the houses, making it both a mine and a shop for no additional cost and minimal effort.

Prison Mines Pack #2 by Jeancar6

The final entry on this list is another pack featuring 10 mines by Jeancar6. This pack is unique in that it has a singular focus on structural building rather than a combination of structural and terraforming. As such, each mine is surrounded by a professionally crafted building guaranteed to leave players in awe.

This resource can be found here, on the SchematicStore website.
